Congratulations to the following members of the Class of 2003 for their accomplishments:

  • Michelle Brower, who has been accepted into the graduate program in English at Pennsylvania State University, which has offered her a fellowship and a teaching assistantship, and for having been accepted into the graduate program in English at New York University (NYU).
  • Ed Chamberlain, who has been accepted into the graduate program in Comparative Literature at Indiana University–Bloomington.
  • April-Lynne Croman, who has accepted an English teaching position at Hillsborough High School in Hillsborough, NJ. April was also offered a teaching position in Marlboro and in the Lenape district.
  • Kara Ingling, who graduated in May 2005 from Rutgers Graduate School of Education with an Ed.M. in Secondary English Education. She was awarded the NJ Commissioner’s Distinguished Teacher Candidate Award that same year. She began working in East Brunswick as an 8th grade English teacher at Churchill Jr. High for 1 1/2 years and was recently hired to teach English and film classes at A.P. Schalick High School in Pittsgrove, Twp., NJ.
  • Holly Kent, who combined her English major with a History minor and a Women and Gender Studies minor and has been accepted into the PhD program in history at Lehigh University, which has offered her a fellowship and a teaching assistantship.
  • Anthony Lardaro, who has been accepted into the MAT program in social studies in the School of Education at The College of New Jersey.
  • Elizabeth Livingston, who has been accepted into the graduate program in English at the University of Maryland–College Park, and for having been accepted into the graduate program in English at the University of Delaware with a full tuition scholarship and a teaching fellowship. Elizabeth finished her MA at Delaware in 2005 and is beginning law school at Rutgers-Camden.
  • Chris Ludwig, who has been accepted into journalism programs at Goldsmith’s in London and the London School of Economics. He begins his graduate study in September of 2005.
  • Joanna Malandrenias, who has been accepted into the postbaccalaureate program in classical studies at Columbia University.
  • Josée Rose, who has accepted a position as a layout editor with The Wall Street Journal.
  • Christopher Vona, who has been accepted to the Widener College School of Law.
  • Elizabeth Wiggins, who has been accepted into a graduate program in English at Lehigh University.
  • Christine Wilson, who has been accepted into Georgetown University‘s law school’s international law program; George Washington University‘s law school; The College of William and Mary‘s law school, which has offered her a graduate fellowship; and Wake Forest University‘s law school, which has offered her their Dean’s scholarship.
